A social media app with chat functionality made with NextJS 13. It uses React Query for front end to fetch data from a PostgresSQL database hosted on Supabase & uses Prisma for the DB queries. Messenger portion was made with Upstash & Redis. Includes Pagination when scrolling posts. Next Auth for authentication. Users can create & delete posts, add & delete comments, favorite posts, see a timeline for everyone or just who they follow.

Created with NextJS 13. Connects to themoviedb API and server side renders searches, categories, etc. Uses Clerk.dev for authentication and connects to a Supabase database with Prisma so logged in users can save or remove movies to their watchlist. Fully responsive and makes use of image carousels to flick through movies.

The site was originally made with plain HTML, CSS and Javascript. I decided to recreate it with NextJs 13 to make it faster and easier. I used Sanity.io for the backend with custom schema's with validation and the Groq query language to fetch each page. Framer Motion was used for the animations and Tailwind was used for the CSS.

Created with NextJs 13, Sanity.io backend, and Stripe to process the payments. React Context API was used to keep track of state across the application. Framer motion was used for the animations. Tailwind was used for the CSS and I also implemented a dark / light mode.

Created with React and used Firebase as the backend / authorization. Users create an account and have all their notes or photos stored on it. Fully functional CRUD app with the ability to also sort notes by level of importance.

Created with React and React Router v6. The site fetches data from 3 separate API's to get the news (with different categories), weather (searchable by city) and stock information. I used vanilla CSS to style it with Framer Motion for animations.

Hi! With four years of experience as a full stack developer, my passion for web development was ignited by my love for the creative process of building things. I attended Juno College in Toronto, Ontario for their JavaScript program, and I have been continuously expanding my knowledge ever since.

I have coded websites for multiple local businesses, utilizing various technologies such as JavaScript (ES6), React, Next JS, Tailwind and for the backend Prisma, PostgreSQL, Sanity and Firebase.

Prior to my work as a front end developer, I was a professional wedding photographer for 14 years, during which time I honed my project management skills, as well as my abilities in written and verbal communication, teamwork, SEO, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom.
